Hello, I'm Dani. Welcome to Noonchi Cake.
After ten years working in personal shopping and styling in London, I moved to Yorkshire and found a new creative outlet in baking. It began with cakes for friends and family, and the wish to bake my daughter's birthday cake.
The vintage cake art coming out of South Korea sparked something. I fell for the intricate decoration and began practising. Noonchi's name is a nod to that inspiration and the art of tuning in to other people's feelings.
My love of fashion still finds its way into the colour combinations. And those little pearls? My daughter Pearl has something to do with them.
